Turnstiles provide an effective way of managing pedestrian traffic in a wide range of indoor and outdoor situations that require access control and logging. The choice of turnstile will depend on the level of security required, location and visual impact whilst taking into account peak use in normal and emergency situations. The turnstile range is market leading and addresses the widest demands from use in public and commercial environments.
Some turnstiles are compatible with advanced electronic access control technologies and conventional passkey systems.
Half Height Turnstiles
Half height turnstiles offer the perfect way to monitor visitor flow or manage footfall through your required location. Be it to monitor footfall levels or for monitoring people in low security areas, half height turnstiles are the common solution. Be aware however we only advise these to be used in low security areas as they can be easily compromised therefore the general use comes as quick access control in high traffic areas where the direction of the turnstile can be changed effectively and quickly as required.
3/4 Height Turnstiles
When half height turnstiles simply don’t offer a high enough level of protection you can upgrade to our 3/4 height turnstiles which are more complicated to compromise and offer a more secure level of crowd monitoring. As with the smaller system our 3/4 height turnstiles are multi directional and offer total integration into current security systems meaning control is in your hands.
Full Height Turnstile
As with the smaller counter parts the full height turnstile can be attached to any access or revenue system not to mention key-fobs or pin entry access giving you complete flexibility and control. Supported for internal or external application due to the stainless, mild or galvanised steel finishes. The use of the full height turnstile are endless but commonly seen in larger car parks, football stadiums, theme parks or local authority entrances such as courts.
